Cosmetic Couture Training Academy, based in the prestigious Salford Quays area, provide Aesthetic Training for non-medics and medics alike. We have a large team that is made up of Doctors, Nurses, Aesthetic Practitioners and administration staff that work to ensure high standards of training, expertise and clinical standards. We pride ourselves on our learning and development facilities that enable the ambitious student to take their first steps in carving a successful career within the aesthetics industry.

Founder and director of Cosmetic Couture Training Academy, Maxine McCarthy has worked closely with the Health Education of England and alongside the Joint Council of Cosmetic Practitioners as part of a Beauty Expert Reference Group. This has enabled a comprehensive course curriculum to be developed that is aligned with both HEE guideline requirements, from Level 4 to Level 7.

Who can attend an Aesthetic’s course?

Courses are tailored to all levels of academic and practical experience and are suitable for any aesthetic practitioners who want to expand or reinforce their knowledge or, hands-on ability to serve their clients.

We train any suitable practitioners from Doctors, Dentists, Pharmacists, Nurses, Podiatrists to Beauty Therapists (NVQ level 3 incl. electrolysis and IPL), as well as other qualified persons. An interview process is in place to help guide students to the best possible training route to suit their needs.

How to Apply

Step 1

If you are interested in applying for a course at Cosmetic Couture Training Academy, you must first submit a Course Application Form.


Once your application has been submitted, we will review your suitability to the course.

Step 2:

Our open days give you the opportunity to view our great facilities and gain an understanding of the learning environment you will be entering. This helps you decide upfront about what we offer and if you are comfortable with us.

Step 3:

You need a certain level of skill in language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) to undertake any of our training courses that are offered. Ensuring your suitability for starting with Cosmetic Couture Aesthetic Training Academy is a responsibility we take seriously and care extremely about, we want you to be the best you can be and this is an important step.

Step 4:

At this point you would have checked us out so now it’s our chance to check you out. After successfully completing the LLN assessment, the enrolment interview is then carried out. During the enrolment interview you will fill out your personal details, discuss the policies and procedures, payment fees and then pay a deposit to secure your place on one or more of our training courses due to the high demand we get on a regular basis. You will then be registered, given a learner number and student access badge on your official first day.
