Course Background

Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that aids in the management of nerve related pain, providing a more positive experience. Clients have varying responses to pain; some have a high pain threshold and don’t require any pain relief whereas others need Lidocaine Infusion.

This course teaches how to safely and effectively administer Lidocaine Infusion prior to uncomfortable aesthetic treatments such as dermal fillers. You will be taught how to deliver Lidocaine Infusion in order to target the nerve supply of the upper and lower lip.

Sclerotherapy: Course Background

Sclerotherapy is the best treatment for leg thread veins. Short wave diathermy is generally used to treat face thread veins and non-surgical removal of skin tags. The course is taught by Experts who have years of experience in this field. This course is suitable for doctors, dentists, nurses and aestheticians who would like to expand the list of the aesthetic treatments they offer. The course consists of presentation on both the topics followed by hands-on-experience.

Sclerotherapy is a treatment that reduces the appearance of unsightly veins, such as varicose veins and spider veins and vascular blemishes.

This course is taught by a Registered General Nurse (RGN) prescriber and tutor and teaches in both the theoretical understanding of veins and vascular blemishes as well as practical elements.

Course Background

Plasma Blast® is a revolutionary non-surgical procedure developed here at Cosmetic Couture that is a non invasive alternative to surgery such as blepharoplasty. The treatment utilities plasma that is formed by ionising gas particles in the air. This causes the affected tissue to contract and tighten. This treatment is ideal to treat baggy lower eyelids and excess upper eyelid skin, warts, sun damage and pigmentation, stretch marks, scarring and active acne.

Hyaluronidase: Course Components

The purpose of the course is to enable aesthetic practitioners to be able to deliver hyaluronidase to the faces of their clients. Mesotherapy: Course Background

Meso-Therapy  is a skin treatment which involves different injection techniques and HA, which can improve a number of conditions of the skin. This course provides the theoretical knowledge of the structure of the skin and practical training on various injection types and techniques.

Dermaplane: Course Background

The purpose of the course is to enable practitioners to be able to safely and effectively perform the dermaplane treatment on their clients. Two courses can be studied; Dermaplane facial and Dermaplane Body.

Dermaplaning consists of the regulated shearing action of a surgical sterile steel scalpel blade at a 45 degree angle detaching skin cells that have keratinized at the epidermis and simultaneously removing vellus hair where it occurs. This leaves the client with smoother, healthier, hair-free skin.

Theoretical knowledge and understanding of what dermaplaning is and how it works will be studied to underpin all practical training.

To meet the minimum requirement to enroll you must have completed Beauty Therapy level 3 with electrolysis, micro needling, semi permanent make up or laser IPL; or be a nurse, dentist or doctor.

Mono PDO Threads: Course Background

The PDO training Course covers the fundamental and advanced principles relating to PDO treatment. Our PDO Thread contouring training is suitable for aesthetic doctors, dentists, nurses and aestheticians at advanced level looking to extend the spectrum of treatments they provide at their clinics. The training programme includes presentation and a practical demonstration on signs of facial aging, applied anatomical knowledge and key practical hands-on-sessions on live models under the supervision of our expert trainers. Offering such treatment enhances the credibility of the clinics. The trainees are assessed throughout the course and certification is awarded once the trainee has demonstrated full competence in all areas of the curriculum.
